4 Tips for Better Kidney Health in 2023

Happy 2023, friends! And a new year means… New Years resolutions.

To be honest, I don’t love the idea of New Years resolutions. They almost kinda imply there’s only one good time of the year to focus on setting goals & changing your habits 🤔 In my opinion, any time is a good time to make changes!

BUT - if you aren’t in the practice of checking in with yourself to audit whether your behaviors line up with the results you want, New Years can be a good time to do it.

Especially after the hectic holidays, it's often a good opportunity to slow down, re-center, and get focused 🧘‍♀️

So - if you’re looking to focus and center yourself going into 2023, and keep those kidneys as healthy as possible, here are a few habits to get focused on for happy kidneys:

1️⃣ Drinking enough water: carrying a water bottle helps a lot!

2️⃣ Eating enough vegetables: start by making sure you're getting at least 1 per day, then build from there

3️⃣ Cooking at home more often: audit how many days per week you dine out, then choose a day to eat at home instead

4️⃣ Eating regular meals during the day: plus, be prepared with snacks in case you go longer without a meal than planned

Nothing mind blowing here, to be honest! BUT - it can be easy to let these things slip.

Which of these habits would you like to work on most as the year gets started? (Hint: tracking your habits helps you stick with them)

And if you’d like a personalized strategy on exactly HOW to drink more water, eat more veggies, cook more often, or eat more regularly ➡️ my signature nutrition program The Kidney Vitality Method is for you 🥳

I’m enrolling new clients now for a January 16th start date. That’s just two weeks away! Apply here. Excited to help you make 2023 your best year ever 💚
